Game Development Log #2

In the second week of developing "Void Lives," I took a major step forward by bringing the first town to life. The town is now a fully realized, vibrant environment where the story begins to unfold. From cobblestone streets to quirky little shops, every corner of this town is designed to draw you into the world of "Void Lives." It’s more than just a setting; it’s a place where you can almost hear the chatter of townsfolk and feel the energy of a world driven by colors. But, of course, what's a town without its inhabitants?

This week, I'm diving into populating the town with NPCs. These characters will add life and personality to the game, each with their own stories, quests, and quirks. Whether it's a friendly merchant with a love for bartering or a mysterious stranger with a secret mission, these NPCs will be crucial in shaping your journey as Colorless. As I design these characters, I’m focused on making each one memorable, ensuring that every interaction feels meaningful and engaging. The town is about to get a whole lot livelier, and I can't wait for you to meet its colorful inhabitants.

Meanwhile, I’m also putting the finishing touches on the character audios. Every voice, every line of dialogue is being carefully crafted to match the tone and emotion of the game. This is the final piece that will bring the characters to life, adding depth to their personalities and making your experience in "Void Lives" even more immersive. So, get ready, because next week, you'll be able to hear the voices of the characters as they guide, challenge, and accompany you on your adventure. There's a lot to look forward to, and I'm excited to see how it all comes together!
