Game Development Log #1

In the first week of creating "Void Lives," I dove headfirst into the world of 3D modeling, bringing the main character, Colorless, to life with meticulous detail and dynamic animations. Watching Colorless move and breathe in the game world was exhilarating, and I didn't stop there. I began crafting an array of attack actions, ensuring that Colorless was not only visually compelling but also equipped for the adventures ahead. Each swipe, slash, and strike added a new layer of excitement to the character, making the combat system as engaging as the storyline itself.

Looking ahead to next week, my focus will shift from individual character development to the broader game environment. I am planning to build the first town, a vibrant and bustling hub where Colorless will embark on their journey. This town will be more than just a backdrop; it will be a living, breathing part of the game's world, filled with unique characters, quests, and secrets waiting to be discovered. The challenge of creating an immersive and interactive town is one I am eager to tackle, as it will set the stage for the adventures to come.

In addition to building the town, I will be stepping into the recording studio to capture the voices of the characters. Giving life to the game's inhabitants through audio will add a rich layer of immersion, making the world of "Void Lives" feel even more alive. Whether it's the heartfelt dialogue of a townsperson or the intimidating roar of a creature, these recordings will bring an auditory depth to the game that complements its visual and interactive elements. It's going to be a busy and exciting week, filled with creativity and the joy of seeing "Void Lives" grow and evolve!
